Focus Areas
Conn students have the opportunity to choose focus areas throughout the year from Conn's array of specials. Students who choose an art focus area will spend every day in the art room for six weeks. Focus areas provide a way for students to engage in more in-depth learning and create dynamic art masterpieces. All art focus areas emphasize art history, use of varied media, and both individual and group work. Details on upcoming focus areas are listed below.

Art is a great way to contribute to the community. We can work together to create art that uplifts through a kind message, a sharing spirit, or a funny idea. Students will learn about artists that contribute to their communities through murals, projects, and art installations and then create their own masterpieces to be displayed at school as well as in our community. |
